THERMOSTAT INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS  

1. Remove thermostat cover from base as shown in FIGURE 1.  

2. If the thermostat is connected to a power source, disconnect it.  

3. Locate the thermostat in an area with good air circulation  

(not on an outside wall).  

4. Install the thermostat approximately 5' above the floor.  

5. Use electrical wiring approved by applicable codes.  

6. Feed wires through the rectangular slots as shown in FIGURE 2.  

7. Connect the wires to the terminal screws as shown in FIGURE 3.  

8. Make sure the wiring does not interfere with thermostat’s operation.  

9. Replace the cover.
