Can I mount a thermostat on a surface-mounted wall box or metal surface?
No. ThermoPlus thermostats are suitable for mounting on a flat surface only, not on surface-mounted wall boxes or unearthed metal surfaces. Instruction Manual, p. 5
How do I set the time on Secure ThermoPlus AS2 after installation?
Open the cover and press the two outside buttons together to enter installer set-up mode.
- Press Time.
- Press set. The minute field will flash.
- Adjust using up/down buttons, then press set.
- Adjust hour using up/down buttons, then press set.
- Continue through date, month and year fields in the same way.
- Press the two outside buttons together to leave installer set-up. Instruction Manual, p. 8
Where are the connection pins located on Secure ThermoPlus AS2?
On the back of the unit. They locate into the terminal slots in the Backplate when you swing the thermostat into position. Instruction Manual, p. 6
What does STANDBY mean on the Secure ThermoPlus AS2 display?
The word appears when frost protection mode is activated by pressing the blue button under the flap. Instruction Manual, p. 11
What do the up and down arrow buttons do on Secure ThermoPlus?
They select a profile during installer setup and adjust the frost protection temperature after STANDBY is triggered. Instruction Manual, p. 11
What do terminals 1, 2, 3 and 4 connect to on the Secure ThermoPlus AS2?
Terminal 1 is LIVE (LINE). Terminal 2 is LOAD (HEAT). Terminal 3 is NOT USED. Terminal 4 is N (PARKING).

How do I detach the wiring block from the backplate?
