STC-2303 owns 6 touch-sensitive keys, two sensors, and  
two output relays to connect and control the Refrigerator  
and the defrosting unit.

The aimed temperature range was defined  
between the “On Temp.” and the “Off Temp.”.  
Firstly, you should decide the working mode (F14) is  
refrigeration or heating; Since the aim temperature range  
will be rewritten to default value once you change F14.  
Next, set the temperature for load starts/stops

Function menu: hold the key for 3 seconds to see the menu list. Defrosting lasting time. Defrosting cycle/interval time. Defrosting cycle/interval time count mode. The sum working time of the controller. The sum working time of the compressor. Defrosting by electric-thermal or hot gas. Over-temperature value to trigger alarm.
  • Page 3: Set the defrosting interval time. When F2 = 0, the defrosting function is disabled. When F2 > 0, the defrosting function works. Configure the F5 defrost method. F5 = 0, defrost by electric-thermal. F5 = 1, defrost by hot gas from the compressor. Change the F6 value; it is the stop line for defrosting. To configure other parameters. If the keys are locked, hold the [ ] key for 1s to unlock. The icon will dim and auto-lock again if there is no operation in 30s.
  • Page 4: Restore factory setting by holding the key for 10 seconds. The screen will show RES. Release the key and hold another key for 3 seconds. The screen will display YES if successful or ERR if failed. Power on again before trying if it fails. This is not a step-by-step user manual; it just shows the key points.
