Temporary override using the UP and DOWN arrow icons.
Whilst in program mode (display shows PRG in the top-right) , you can adjust the set temperature by touching
the UP or DOWN arrows. This is a temporary override of the current temperature setting. The display will
change from showing ‘ROOM’ and the current measured temperature, to showing ‘SET’ and the temperature
that you are now setting. Five seconds after you have changed the temperature to the value you want for the
time-being, the thermostat will ‘time-out’ and once again show ‘ROOM’ and the measured temperature. The
heating will be switched ON or OFF according to the adjustment you have made. The programmed time / tem-
perature setting will be restored with the next program entry in the memory.
Permanent override—manual mode using the SET icon
SET
In the program run mode, touch the SET icon briefly to choose between Program mode (PRG) or manual mode
(sun symbol )). In manual mode you can set a different temperature from the programme. Manual mode is a
permanent selection which will only change if you touch the SET icon again. Program mode (PRG) runs the pro-
grammed time & temperature sequence.
Set the time & weekday:
SET
Insert the batteries with correct polarity. The screen will jump to time-setting mode. Or—during normal opera-
tion, touch the SET icon for 5 seconds to go into time-setting mode. Using the UP and DOWN arrow icons you can
set the current time and weekday. Whether you change a value or not, touch the SET icon to confirm and move on
to the next setting. Touch ON/OFF or BACK, or the VIBE will ‘time-out’ to run mode after about ten seconds.

TFC Group WFSTAT Wi-Fi Thermostat Instructions Overview
Summary of Contents
- Page 1: User instructions for the programmable thermostat WFSTAT Optimum Vibe include touch-sensitive buttons for various functions such as switching on or off, programming, and selecting pre-set temperatures. The device can be programmed using a smartphone app or the thermostat's touch controls. Temporary override is possible using the up and down arrow icons while in program mode, allowing adjustments to the set temperature. The display will indicate the current measured temperature and the set temperature during adjustments. Permanent override can be achieved by switching to manual mode using the SET icon, which allows for a different temperature setting from the program. To set the time and weekday, insert batteries with correct polarity or touch the SET icon for five seconds during normal operation. The transmitter and receiver display includes indicators for current program number, weekday, manual mode, program mode, and current time. The device features various controls such as ON/OFF, UP, DOWN, and PROGRAM, along with indicators for heating status and WiFi connection. The heating will switch on or off based on the adjustments made, and the programmed settings will be restored with the next program entry. The manual mode is a permanent selection that will only change if the SET icon is touched again.
- Page 2: Programming: reviewing or changing the factory pre-set program The VIBE - model OP-WFSTAT - has a factory pre-set sequence. Monday to Friday program includes specific times and temperature settings. Saturday & Sunday program also includes specific times and temperature settings. Touch the PROG icon for 5 seconds to access the first program. You can confirm the time or change it in 15-minute increments. You can change the temperature in 0.5°C steps. To create your own program, you must overwrite the pre-set sequence. A blank table is provided for your use if required. After programming, you can save and quit or wait for the VIBE to time-out. Using the four available program spaces, you can set a temperature profile to suit your schedule.
- Page 3: Parameter setting — how to configure the way your Optimum Vibe thermostat works. Configuration options should be set-up when the Vibe is first installed, but you can re-visit these settings if necessary. To open the configuration menu, touch the transmitter ON/OFF button to turn the display off, then touch the SET and UP buttons simultaneously for 5 seconds. You will be viewing the first of 21 options which can be configured to adjust the operation of the Optimum Vibe. Touch the UP or DOWN arrows to adjust the parameter, and touch SET to move sequentially through the options. Changes will be saved by pressing the ON/OFF button. If no button is touched for 10 seconds, the display will ‘time-out’, but your changes will still be saved. Firmware is pre-loaded in the factory. Firmware versions correct at time of going to press.
- Page 4: Configuration options include frost-protection temperature settings that activate heating below a specified level. Temperature display options allow for showing both set and room temperatures or set temperature only. Optimum Start regulation is recommended for effective temperature management. TPi regulation settings should be adjusted based on the speed of the heating system. Low battery indication occurs when batteries need replacement, with a display alert every 30 seconds. After battery replacement, programming settings are retained, but time and weekday must be reset. WiFi or RF link refresh involves pressing and holding the receiver’s override button until the LED flashes. Disabling the receiver stops it from responding to transmitter signals. The transmitter can be powered down to save battery while maintaining the receiver's state. Specifications include a 868 MHz radio frequency control set with a range of features and dimensions for both transmitter and receiver.
