cal code. Special CO/ALR solderless connectors must be used when  
connecting with aluminium conductors.

* The thermostat displays the percentage of heating time required to  
maintain the desired temperature. For example, is displayed when  
heating is activated 40 percent of the time.

Description

This thermostat can be used to control an electric heating system  
such as a baseboard heater, a radiant ceiling, a radiant floor, a con-  
vector, etc.  
4-wire installation  
The thermostat cannot be used with the following:  
a resistive load under 2 A  
a resistive load over 12.5 A  
systems driven by a contactor or a relay (inductive load)  
fan-equipped heating systems  
central heating systems

Align and affix the base to the  
electrical box.  
One (1) thermostat  
Two (2) 6-32 mounting screws  
Two (2) solderless connectors

Installation  
o
TURN OFF POWER OF THE HEATING SYSTEM AT THE MAIN  
POWER PANEL TO AVOID ELECTRIC SHOCK.  
Loosen the screw holding the control module to the base. The screw  
cannot be completely removed. Lift the control module to remove it  
from the base.  
Set the switch at the back of the remov-  
able part of the thermostat to °C or °F.  
Replace the front part of the thermostat  
on the base and secure it in place with  
the screw.  
NOTE: Keep the air vents of thermostat  
Make the appropriate connections. Please note that the thermostat  
clean and unobstructed at all times.  
wires are non-polarized; either wire can be connected to either termi-  
nal.

The thermostat cannot be used with resistive loads under 2 A or over 12.5 A, systems driven by a contactor or relay, fan-equipped heating systems, or central heating systems. Supplied parts include one thermostat, two mounting screws, and two solderless connectors. Turn off power of the heating system at the main power panel to avoid electric shock. Loosen the screw holding the control module to the base; it cannot be completely removed. Set the switch at the back of the removable part of the thermostat to °C or °F. Keep the air vents of the thermostat clean and unobstructed at all times.
  • Page 2: Temperature display and setting allows users to view and change the setpoint temperature. Aube warrants this product, excluding the battery, to be free from defects in workmanship or materials for three years from the date of purchase. If the product is defective, it can be returned with proof of purchase for repair or replacement. During a power outage, the setpoint is saved in memory, and no adjustment is needed when power returns. The warranty does not cover removal or reinstallation costs and is void if damage occurs while in the consumer's possession. Specifications include supply voltage, minimum and maximum load, display range, setpoint range, and storage temperature. This warranty is the only express warranty provided by Aube, and any implied warranties are limited to the three-year duration of this warranty. The thermostat may reach temperatures between 35 °C and 40 °C during normal operation.
