24 VOLT (HOT)  

Use a multimeter to identify which MAN terminals is 24V  

and which MAN terminal is 0V.

Use a multimeter (set to AC Volts), place the -ve probe to  

chassis and test the voltage on the two MAN terminals.  

The one showing 24 AC (approx.) is the “R” terminal, (wired  

to Com linked with R on SMT-2W5) the terminal showing  

0V is the “W” terminal (wired to 3 on the SMT-2W5)  

24 VOLT (COMMON)  

Enter the SMT-450 Installer menu (PIN is 0021)  

Under “System Type Selection” choose the “Others” option,  

then select “Conventional 1H no fan”
