Can the Honeywell RTH5160D1003 automatically switch between heating and cooling?
Yes. Set System Setup option 300 (System Changeover) to 1 for Automatic mode. This lets the thermostat maintain desired temperature by controlling both systems. Set it to 0 for Manual if you prefer to control heating or cooling independently. Installation Guide, p. 9
